My thanks to everyone for giving me so much good material to go through. Now that I have sorted the bulk of the material, I'm heading into the studio to start painting. I'm also going to try to update this blog on a semi-regular basis.
I will be using peoples personal stories for the exhibition and also the many impressions that participants had of Oshawa.
I have been finding some great on-line resources to combine with the images and information that I collected in Oshawa.
My favourite archive of the week is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=12439352823
a tribute to those of you who shared fond memories of this Oshawa location.
Looking for: (this will be a regular part of blog entries) This week I'm looking for an image of the original Oshawa Motovated sign.

Just Home From Oshawa
I have just returned to Regina from Oshawa. Michele and I had a wonderful time setting up 'The Office of Identity Collection' project there. Thanks again to all of participants and the staff of The Robert McLaughlin Gallery for making the installation and performance a success.
The contents of the project almost came to a grim end. The trunk of our rental car popped open on the 401. I watched it flapping open and closed with horror, I had put the small suitcase containing the project hard drive carefully on top of the other luggage! Luckily sunday morning traffic was light and we were able to pull over and get the trunk shut. So I will have audio/video of our participants stories to work up into paintings and mixed media artwork.
I will try to keep everyone updated on the project through this blog, so keep an eye out for a few posts a month.
Sincerely, Heather M. Cline
